Even the innocent are pulled into shadows.

It was not a part of her plan. There were pathways she had wanted to take. There were things she had wanted to see with her own eyes, even if... in a manner of speaking, they weren't the eyes of a princess. Sometimes, however, social status didn't seem to make a difference. In the end, an eye was an eye was an eye. It mattered not the clothes on one's back, or the cowardice and valour in a man's heart. In a very primitive way of speaking, it came to a conclusion that once the world was cloaked in darkness, everyone became the same.

In order to prevent future conflicts, would it have been easier to simply plunge a world into oblivion?

"That... is not something I want to do," she murmured to herself, uncertainty attaching itself to various words.

If she were around anyone else, she would have quickly covered that doubt. A leader in question caused the followers and the support of that leader to fall into the same footsteps. For the sake of righteousness, and perhaps even for the sake of pride, she would not allow any such thing to take place. Though with how dreary her thoughts seemed to be, or this world that her mind had created for her, it was difficult not to fall into that stance.

"To be strong," Zelda encouraged herself. "This is what I wish to be. If not for myself, then for others. It is not possible to do things for others, however, until you can do them for yourself. I have every intent to do this."

She cast a glance around her. It was home, was it not? Or... perhaps it wasn't. Something seemed a little off, didn't it?

"...Where do I begin?"

[OoC: Very much new, bringing with me a post-OoT Zelda / Sheik. I promise not to bite.]
