Why does it seem like women are really materialistic -- big huge expensive diamond rings, jewelry, fancy expensive china, etc. Is it that we are born that way, or is it a society thing? I guess what brings this up was a talk about engagement rings. Some people already have theirs planned out and they know how much the guy makes, and since he has to use 3 months salaries to pay for a rock, they know how much he can afford. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, but isn't it more romantic to be surprised and have it come from the heart. Why is it so important to have something really expensive on your finger? You could use that money elsewhere. Isn't it more important that you found the guy of your dreams or someone close to your dreams?
Also, what's up with moodiness? I know people can be moody, it's human nature. Why is it that if a woman is moody, she is having PMS? Can't she be moody? This doesn't have anything to do with me because I am always a very pleasant person. ;) However, a friend of mine was telling me that her boyfriend attributes her moodiness to PMS. Maybe it's true in her case, but guys always seem to assume that. Why? Someone did that to me once when I had a craving for mashed potatoes. That is such an annoying accusation.
By the way, I am not actually moody. I was just a wondering.
