This past weekend was totally wicked awesome.
Friday: The CHAP party. I talked to some people I don't talk to all the time. I danced a little although I didn't like the music too much. Plus, some people I was with were a little bit whiny. Still, it was great to be out at a club. And let me tell you... To get in, if it it hadn't been a Lockheed Party, was 20 bucks a person. OMG. And it was more to enter the VIP room -- which is what we, Lockheed people, had. Plus, I did end up being able to put in for the raffle. I didn't win anything, but at least I did have a chance.
Saturday: I cleaned a little. Well, really I cleaned everywhere but my room, which is now a disaster area from moving things into it. Boston Dave and his girlfriend, Svetlana came around 7:30pm. Then Ryan and Randi, Jesse, Dave Berol and Meg, and Carol came. It was awesome. We hung out and mostly just talked. Berol spilled lemonade on the carpet, but it was easily removed with this carpet cleaner that I have never used, but had in the house. I should probably do that with other older stains in my carpet. Anyway, Ryan is probably the funniest person in the world. It was just awesome.
Sunday: Jesse stayed over, and Gilbert came in the early afternoon. We made pancakes and muffins and lemonade for breakfast. Svetlana was upstairs for a good portion of the day -- I am not really sure why. But the rest of us fought with my toy weapons downstairs. We also played the new game I got for my birthday from Skipper. I won, Dave got 2nd, Gil got 3rd, and Jesse got 4th. Oh, also we played a little 24, the one with the exponents. I didn't think I was very good at that, but I generally got the answers, while Dave and Svetlana (both of whom are math majors) gave up. I love 24 -- the game, not the show which I don't watch. We also made dinner with spaghetti and hot dogs. It was just great to hang out with people all day. It reminded me of college, but even better. I wish I had that always, instead of living by myself.
Monday: I am back at work, and I just keep thinking about Tuesday at 10:09. I get to step of the plane and be in Orlando. So exciting!
