Summary: Kyuhyun writes a letter to a lost lover.
Kyuhyun had given up on love. He had been betrayed and heartbroken more times than he could possibly count. His heart, once so healthy and full, had become nothing more than a shriveled shell of the beating organ it once was. He was empty.
"I'm sorry," He had written in his quick, neat handwriting. "if I have offended you and made you unhappy. You have to understand that you have caused me unintentional pain, and others close to me have hurt me in ways I cannot explain with words. I don't blame you, Ryeowook. I am merely... Saddened that you refuse to look at my pitiful face again."
Kyuhyun set down his pen as he felt warm tears prickle the inside of his eyelids. He cupped his forehead in his palms and let out a quiet sob. His nerves were frayed and his mind had been in turmoil ever since Ryeowook had left him, possibly forever. "Will you ever return?" Kyuhyun had asked at the airport through a veil of tears.
Ryeowook had turned to him with a sad smile on that lovely face and whispered in his sing song voice, "I don't know, Kyu. I don't know..."
Kyuhyun had waved goodbye to his soul mate that day, wishing that he would be blessed with the chance to see him again.
Kyuhyun picked up the pen once more and continued to write. "This may be too much to ask, but I will ask anyway. Do you even miss me, Wookie. Because I miss you every waking minute. I miss you so much that I cry myself to sleep at night. So please, can we start anew? Can we forgive each other and learn how to support one another? Please think about it, and remember that I love you now and always.
