I don't believe in warning for character death. I just believe in flailing at the author when I get to the end of a fic where someone I like dies. XD And yeah, it's only implied, so you're good.

SEIYSuN verse is so depressing. EVERYBODY DIES. (Or at least goes off into the sunset...to die.)

I'm upset, though, that I couldn't find the way to properly imply that his death--this film--is the start of the machine propaganda that is so so so heavily referenced in my PV prequel.

I got the impression that the robots were scheming something along those lines, so either I was overthinking or you managed to imply it well enough. The fact that he was apparently the only human involved made it definitely seem like they had an ulterior motive for making a movie.
