01. Crave--TOKIO, G [3-17-08]
Nagase stops strumming his guitar abruptly. Naturally, this brings the entire session to a halt.

Mabo contemplates tossing a stick at him, but instead just stares. It's Taichi who first questions it.

"...What?"

Nagase stares straight ahead, expression unusually serious. "Beef."

Leader starts coughing and Yamaguchi nearly doubles over with laughter.

"Need beef. Where's my phone?" Nagase rises to his feet, only to be stopped by a supernaturally fast-moving Taichi. Nagase turns to him with a frown. "Beef delivery?" Taichi shakes his head. Nagase turns to Matsuoka. "Can we have beef in the next PV?"

"One-track mind," Taichi mutters, poking Nagase in the shoulder. "The beef will still be there when we get done. I'll treat."

Taichi is quickly enveloped in a smirking Nagase's arms. "Thank you!!!"

"Ahhhh, I knew it."

08. Fish--KinKi Kids, G [3-19-08]
"Look, just look," Tsuyoshi said, nudging Koichi toward the tank.

"Knowing you, it's probably going to be weird," Koichi muttered, opening one eye and peering in. He frowned, then blinked at the small, mottled brown thing that was supposedly a fish. "...Uh. What is it?"

Tsuyoshi pressed his face to the tank. "Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri," he said carefully. "It's pretty neat, isn't it?"

"It just sits there, you know."

"Well, they can get a little jumpy from time to time, I'm told," Tsuyoshi explained. "But a little peace will be good at home. Don't I already have my hands full with you the rest of the time?"

09. Don't--Hey!Say! JUMP, G [7-18-08]
Takaki stared into the mirror, examining his makeup-caked features, tanned skin, perfectly-sculpted eyebrows...

"I'm sexy," he said with a drawl, mimicking a certain sempai.

The other members of Hey! Say! BEST snickered in the background at how utterly convincing their friend was. Takaki leaned closer to the mirror.

"Cool, cool," he murmured. He cleared his throat. "Of course I want to get married before I'm thirty. Well, but I really haven't met the right girl yet." Takaki tossed his hair a bit and smirked at his reflection.

The lack of giggles from his band mates emboldened him. One last line to psych himself up for the appearance, to totally channel his inner cool...

"I'm going to America," he whispered, eyes serious, grim.

"Oi!" Two hands smacked the back of his head in rapid succession as Hikaru and Yabu's voices chorused. "Don't even joke!"

11. Flow
12. Dream

13. Action--Yokoyama Yu, Maruyama Ryuhei (Yoko/Maru), PG-13 [8-6-08] for alissa
The lights go out in the dressing room with absolutely no warning, giving Yoko both opportunity and alibi; he uses Maru's denials of being the source of a girly scream to locate him and proceeds to take advantage of the situation--he figures nobody will know the difference.

14. Enough--Ninomiya Kazunari, G [1-1-09]
Nino makes it his own personal responsibility to ensure that Jun does not spend more than ten hours on any given solo outfit.

15. Green
16. Metaphor

17. Teach--Taguchi Junnosuke, G [1-1-09]
The third thing Junno heard after he joined the jimusho was that experience is the best teacher. He had fallen ever so gracefully on his face, biting back tears and the other boys laughed nervously, and it took every ounce of his willpower to slap on a smile and stand back up.

He laughed it off, the first of many times, and vowed that one fall would be his last self-inflicted experience.

When he'd disappear between rehearsals, when he'd be five, ten minutes late, he'd always make up fantastic excuses. Nobody knew until years later that he was spending all that time studying film of his sempai.

18. Demand--Domoto Tsuyoshi, G [5-12-08]
He's heard the murmured criticisms about the way he moves now, the way his dance rarely has the sort of control they used to see from both him and his partner, but Tsuyoshi ignores it. He's not sure when it started happening, but at some point he simply stopped dancing.

He can't call what his body craves--no, demands--now, "dance".

It doesn't matter what the song is about; he always feels compelled to move, to live and breathe the rhythm and the melody. He feels the chords forming before his fingers move. He lets his body get ahead of his thoughts, and he's grateful for his performance auto-pilot because he can't think, and he can't stop it.

It's not something as simple as coordinating muscles. It's an uncontrollable expression of the fact that he's alive.

19. Inspire
20. Unrequited
21. Classic

22. Far--Akanishi Jin, G [3-15-08]
Jin doesn't really mind storms. He thinks the lightning can be pretty cool from time to time, as long as it stays far away. He does not, however, approve of that far-off lighting hitting something essential and disrupting the electricity.

The lightning continues for a while, illuminating his otherwise disconcertingly dark room. As it fades and moves away, he presses his nose to the glass with a growing frown.

When it finally gets dark enough in his room that the frown hurts his face and the glass is far too cold, he scrambles away from the windowsill and frantically searches for his phone.
