"Good afternoon, Control."
"Good afternoon, Tony. How was the---oh my. It looks like you've had a bit of a mishap, Tony."
"You might say that, Control. There was a bit of an unexpected side effect of that new knockout gas of ours."
"Oh dear. I'm very sorry to hear that, Tony. I do hope it wasn't painful at all."
"No, not at all. They just itch a bit. And it was quite the devil trying to get them into a cab, if you don't mind my saying."
"That's quite a relief to hear, Tony. Well, I'll have a chat with the boys downstairs about it. After all, we can't have all our agents sprouting wings every time they get a whiff of some new concoction from the lab, now can we?"
"No, I would say not, Control. It would put quite spanner in the works of our more delicate operations."
"It would indeed, Tony. Unless of course -- and I hope you don't mind me asking such a personal question, Tony -- your wings are in fact strong enough to allow you to, for instance, fly."
"Why, that's a capital idea, Control! The thought did occur to me on the cab ride, as flying would probably a good deal more comfortable, but I have to say I haven't yet found a good way to take these things out for a spin."
"Well, Tony, I wouldn't recommend jumping off a building as your first test. You wouldn't want to look foolish if those wings of yours aren't up to the task. No, Tony, I have a low garden wall that I think would do splendidly."
"That's quite a generous offer, Control, but I hate to impose--"
"Nonsense! I do insist, Tony. We can take my car and I can put the top down -- with luck it will be more comfortable than a London cab."
"Well, Control, I don't know what to say, except, thank you, and I would be honored to jump off your garden wall."
"That's the spirit, Tony. Let me just pop on my coat and we'll be off...Valerie, if you could hold my calls for the day, Tony and I are going home to see if he can fly."
