Thoughts.
I want to know what's in the water. I want to know why Supernatural (of all things) has been giving me enough plot ideas for not only a ton of ficlets, but also for a complete NaNo novel, and now 15k+ of this latest story arc I've been working on.
I've had plot ideas before, and I've written fic before, but never ever on a scale like this. Never consistently like this.
I've got theories: I'm out of highschool, I have time to bend to this and without the stress/drain that school was, I've got energy to devote to writing.
Maybe there's some subliminal messaging in SPN directed at me specifically.
Maybe it's because I am a nerd/geek and given the chance to get into angel-lore I jump at it.
I dunno.
I really can't say for sure, except that I like it. And even as I keep dashing off to play more games (On a SMT kick, still working on Nocturne, DDS and Raidou games :3 (and P4 now too!) warning do not inquire about Kaneko's art or I'll start posting the artbooks I found) I keep returning to SPN to put out more fic.
Now I do have IRL troubles and my long-term future is still undecided, but for now I feel pretty good.
...and I still have a long story arc to work on, as there are still fourteen of those Human AU things to write, and I do need to decide on exactly how I'm going to get to my ending...and also put together what that ending is exactly. :P
But yeah. Rambly post is rambly, hope it wasn't too boring. (I do remind myself often that an LJ is a personal thing, and if I decide that I'm going to post long rambly tl;dr posts about my RL for the rest of the month, well, it's my LJ. I just feel odd posting things that aren't memes or fic. *shrug*)
