So I first saw this meme going around my flist at morganoconner and _bluebells and other's LJs, but as I don't have WIPs really I couldn't do it. I mentioned this to _bluebells, and she altered it slightly with a good idea and now I can do it!
Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. --- 'How about a twist: instead of the WIPs in progress, the meme will be the stories on your wishlist to write?'
- My single solitary WIP is theassistant.txt. It's an original fic (or trying to be. SPN wants to sneak in - I see you there, Gabriel.) about an angel who didn't so much as fall from Heaven as get kidnapped while on Earth and prevented from returning, and how he adjusted to that. (edit: I checked, it's about 2,831 words long so far, and with the way it's going it'll be a longfic so no idea when it'll be done)
+ Purgatory Trip Fic is my working title for this collaboration _bluebells and I plotted out last month that we haven't started yet. It's post S5 AU Gabriel-works-a-deal-with-someone/thing-to-open-the-Cage that turns into a trip for Gabriel, Michael and Lucifer to travel through Purgatory the hard way as they work through their family issues.
+ SPN/Startopia space big bang is something I signed up for to write because when I get back to writing, I know I'll get into this project because Gabriel/Dean in a Startopian setting is geek heaven for me. (i.e. it's how I'm all gonna teach you about Groulien Salt Hogs and why you should love them, only with more subtlety)
+ Raphael-centric fic because gosh darnit I want to write another/better fic examining him and how he went from Healer to ruthless militant general.
+ and on that note, any angels-in-general fic because I want to study them and their characters, I want to try capturing that inhuman element they have, I want to get back into learning the lore and all of that, because it's a topic I love dearly and while my NaNo did a fair job of covering a lot of it, it didn't do everything and there are still other ideas and other ways I could write it. Heaven and its history intrigues me so much, see.
+ An Angel Sanctuary/Supernatural crossover that covers exactly how I see those 'verses fitting together and also covers the entire Gabriel/Jibril angle that I adore so much.
+ Gabriel/Dean/Gabriel for an exercise in writing PWPs and for fun. :P
+ And finishing this off with a general desire to write more intriguing things and things I owe and such. Because I really should.
Now, I've no idea when I'll get out of this writing slump but I'll keep poking at it, and hopefully it won't be months before I write anything.
I mean, if it's this easy to write 400+ words of meme stuff, surely I can put out at least one drabble? :P
