My musical inspiration of the moment seems to be Poets of the Fall - Twilight Theater...and more specifically, the song "War", which, seems to be what inspired this whole fic. I'm thinking I must have fallen asleep listening to it, and that's why Plot Bunny From Hell woke me up at 2 a.m. It's the only explanation I have, given how perfect the song is.
And I'll seriously commend you for sharing snippets of your NaNo. I don't think I'm brave enough. :P

Lol, my flist has either exploded into glee or is drowning in despair at NaNo. I'm not doing it this year (between two bigbangs, a ficathon, and various other projects, I don't have time XD), but I am happy to play cheerleader for all you brave souls. :D
As for music inspiration, I've been listening to a lot of Florence And The Machines when I write. :)

Oh lord, I love Florence and the Machine. Their Lungs album is just gold. :D Personal favorite songs include 'Dog Days are over', 'Falling', 'Cosmic Love', 'Howl', 'Drumming' and more. <3
