Devoured this. Extreme hotness aside (no pun intended), there are so many aspects of this that stand out.

The chill of Hell (as per Dante, as well as Lucifer's comment about hell being cold) in comparison to the heat that Gabriel brings.

You brought that sadness, that loneliness, that.. lost -ness between Gabriel and Lucifer, with the addition of homg hot.

I love how Michael is portrayed as somewhat of the outsider- more prone to following direction than letting himself go like Gabriel and Lucifer.

I also saw this as something of a reunion piece between Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer- something that just...needed to happen.

I loved the comment, in the same sense, about it not being the hell they knew, but with his brothers there, it was still somehow home.

Awwww! This was so...well, not cute exactly, but hopeful, and I love the fact that there's a bit of Lucifer/Michael in there as well as Lucifer/Gabriel. Also, since I'm anal and I haven't read the Inferno since high school before I even read this fic I looked it up to figure out what circle you based it on. Figured it was treachery, but I wasn't dure.

Yup, you're right! I figure the cage is either very close to where the Inferno says Satan is imprisoned or right there, so you are correct. :)
