Control was the one who suggested that they get some treats for themselves in the first place. Tony was the one who spotted the donut shop. The weather, well, it decided to put more rain down on London.

Control sighed, watching the water come down. "Tony?"

"Yes, Control?" Tony looked over from the counter, where he was still paying for their treats. Control still wasn't sure how Tony planned to eat his donut without getting any of the sugar on his lovely sweater, but he hadn't said anything. It would impolite, after all.

"We may need to eat in here, I'm afraid. I don't think Valerie would appreciate it if we came back with colds."

"She wouldn't, Control. You're right. Would you mind selecting a table for us to sit at?"

"Not at all, Tony." Control smiled and found himself a table next to the windows, where he could watch the weather. While Valerie wouldn't want them to get sick, he was sure she also wouldn't want him to be late on their way back.

He couldn't stop another sigh at the thought. It just reminded him of firing Tony, and all he wanted was to focus on the here and now, especially since Tony was putting the donuts and coffee on their little table.

"Control, I'm afraid I need to interrupt your thoughts...the coffee's hot, if you want some?"

"I do, Tony, thank you." Control smiled up at Tony, always relieved to see him.

Soon they were seated, and Control had an opportunity to study Tony's eyes. They were a lovely shade of blue, and they were even lovelier when Tony smiled at him.

"It's very nice, having this treat with you, Control, if I may say so."

"You may say so, Tony. It is very nice."

"Thank you." Tony paused, and Control chuckled to himself. "Is something funny, Control?"

"Oh, pardon me. Tony, I'm just thinking that we've always managed to be very polite to each other."

"We have, Control. I've always liked that aspect about our visits."

Control nodded, happy. "It's just very nice to be able to sit here with you."
