Well, that's not new.
I figured I'd practice drawing with my Mom's colored pencils, and guess what? I still can't do much with them. I haven't figured out the techniques I'd need to get the effects I want, and I still can't draw a straight line without a ruler or luck.
I did give it a shot, though, so my eagle-drawing abilities should be a bit better when/if I draw the sketch on canvas for a painting of one.
I still think it's funny how I can draw an awful sketch but turn out a good looking painting.
Mmm. I got a book of Sappho's poetry from the library today, and I'm enjoying it. I also got some water-color painting books out of their 50 cents bin (well, small donation, but really) so I'll check those out later today.
