i had just finished purchasing my $8.64 worth of chicken fingers and 'calico' fries, and i happened to drop a quarter.
within less than a second, SOME LITTLE 13-YEAR-OLD PUNK RAN UP BEHIND ME, STOLE THE QUARTER, AND RAN AWAY. i simply stood there with my jaw dropped.
WTF is with the youth of America?!
on another note, to the mothers-to-be (at any point in time) who read this: please don't let your daughters wear shorts that expose their ass cheeks, it's quite vulgar. i felt guilty even catching a glimpse. in fact, if you want to see how not to raise your kids, go to great america.
then again, this is six flags, where the trailer trash and culprits of traffic court congregate to make out with their unattractive SOs. not to mention, every other 11-15 year old had a shirt either proclaiming their part in "god's pep squad," or saying abortion is evil.
if you want to see what's wrong with our society first hand, or be thankful you're not a parent of these child monstrosities, take a trip to gurnee, IL, pay the $54.99(!!) admission + $15 parking (or do what i did, and score a discount with coke cans/online ticket purchases/piggy-backing on academic or corporate trips), and observe.
(btw, the $54.99 includes "free" admission to the one year old water park -- which explains the $15 increase in admission fee since last summer.)
