As usual, random manga/anime rambling~
Beast Master
Heard lots of good reviews for this manga. It's from the same author of Dengeki Daisy. While it's not a bad read, it's extremely predictable. *sweat... 2 volumes are just not enough to develop the characters, and the romance honestly felt a bit forced. It still has plenty funny moment ala DD though.
Overall Rating: B+ (Decent shoujo, recommended if you're looking for a short read. Don't expect anything deep though. This is mostly mindless entertainment.)
Kami nomizo shiru sekai
Oh, I can feel it's getting close to climax. The goddess capture is almost complete. The impending doom mentioned by Apollo. The vintage is moving, and finally the long awaited FESTIVAL! I'm so excited! ><
Kuroko no Basket
LOL! I did mention how inhuman some abilities have become, especially Kuroko. And now Aomine and Taiga have become super saiyajin. This is becoming the Prince of Tennis version of basketball. Not to mention the amount of bromance is plenty. Let's hope we aren't going to see crazier powers like bunshin, losing 5 senses, ball too fast can't see.com, etc...
Chihayafuru
I just read volume 5 and 6~ I like it better than volume 3 and 4. End of volume 6 is so much suspense~ *needs next volume~ But honestly, this manga is too similar to HnG. I hope for it to have its own more definite flavor than it being a carbon copy. I mean I could foresee majority of the outcomes thanks to it. In any case, Taichi still remains as my favorite. He needs lots of hugs >< If I'm Chihaya, I would've hit him a long time ago. XD
Persona 4 the Animation
I always have a soft spot for Persona or Atlus to be exact. It's ashamed I never get the chance to play their games. They always look so good. Nitarou said she likes Persona 4, so I'm very interested in this anime adaptation. I mean she's such a hard person to please, so it gotta be something super to make her say that.
First episode is all right. I supposed it's still a set up, so nothing exciting happened yet. Though I did go ROFL when Narukami unbuttoned his shirt as the game's battle soundtrack plays...
Hunter X Hunter 2011
I was skeptical at first, but it doesn't look shabby at all. In fact, I enjoy every second of it. They follow the manga more closely this time. The pacing is dynamic, and overall oozes more happiness than solemn mood that plague the original. Although I gotta admit they still miss some crucial details and omitted some violence to make this kid-friendly. Oh well, there's no such thing as perfect, huh?
VA wise, they sounded close enough to original, but I gotta admit I much prefer the original Kurapica VA, since she fits better when Kurapica starts explaining things non-stop. (I hope they don't screw up the cooking exam---aka Kurapica SHINING moment~ XD)
Gah, I look forward to the next episode already~ Hope to see Killua and Hisoka soon~ *Q* Fangirl mode... (Oh yeah, the ending made me ROFL, Hisoka, you're too awesome!)
...
On closing note, there are too many things going on this season. I'm wondering if I should watch Shana, but I donno why I just don't feel so compelled lmao. I supposed the first 2 seasons are more than enough. And then there's Mirai Nikki...I couldn't get pass reading the manga, so I somewhat doubt I will enjoy the anime. Last Exile...I don't trust Gonzo. Fate/Zero...I haven't even seen Fate/Stay.
I supposed I'll only stick with Mawaru Penguindrum, Persona 4, and HxH for the time being. I might also pick up Guilty Crown when the first episode airs.
Oh, I watched Kamisama Dolls the other day...Oh, god, it's so bad. lololol~! I love the OP and ED though.
