Crummy Mood
Here are some complaints. Feel free to skip. :)
My Fios TV service channel lineup is all screwed up because they announced a change in lineup without announcing the effective date - so now the DVR has updated its lineup, but the actual lineup hasn't changed. The website seems to imply it will change in two days. Here's hoping, as their phone support is useless on this subject.
Got a "Low Tire" warning this morning as I left for work. A quick visual inspection showed all tires at least holding weight, so I continued to work, planning to check it out at home. Upon returning home, I check the tire pressures to find 3 tires at 30lbs and one at 4 lbs. What?? I knew radials stood straighter these days, but my tire looked almost totally normal with only 4 lbs of air?? Closer visual inspection revealed a large drywall screw in my tread. Put the donut on, and plan to drop the tire/wheel at the dealership tomorrow without the car. I hope they don't mind. I also hope the screw hasn't damaged the wheel.
This summer, I went a good few months not eating meat. I missed meat, but I enjoyed the novelty of losing weight, dropping cholesterol, and generally proving to myself that I actually could live without it. Somehow, I've lost the mojo, and can't even figure out what I ate during that time. I'm still losing weight, as I'm eating smart and exercising a lot, but my diet is not as interesting as it was.
I will probably not get to hunt this deer season. That makes me sad.
