Irresponsible Liek WHUT
Went to the Chinese Staff & Workers New Year Benefit with Anthony, Anna-Sophie & Diana
- At first I was like "omg i am going to be the only white person there, how dare i infringe omg people will hate meee T_T" ...and then there were like, a large number of white/black/hispanic people there. Sometimes I think people make a bigger deal out of things than there is? ^^;
- Omg, one of my friends from work last year was there -- Rona <3 she can dance! ~squee~
- Lion Dance <3<3<3 i'm too short and wide and caucasian to be able to push through the crowd to deposit money in the lion's mouth, so I went up to a random small child and was like "Pet the lion for meeee <3", which may have been creepy in retrospect, but um, we donated money and made a cute little girl happy, so yaayy <3
- There was a magic show!!! poor diana didnt get anything special though, aww
The best part was the emcee shouting at all the little kids in Chinese because they were like... attacking the magician for toys xD
- It made me so happy to watch; I think it's because it recalled warm fuzzy memories of the ACS Show
- Good thing Diana was there to translate because the rest of us couldn't speak Chinese
During the raffle they didnt always translate the winning numbers into English >_>;; ...suspicious!!!
- Anna-Sophie and I are an *excellent* boyfriend -- we got Diana the green balloon she wanted xD
"NO!!!! You're not a good boyfriend!!!! You don't even have a penis!!! >D"
- Anthony just has to announce to the WORLD exactly where Diana lives ^^;;
- "Get rid of the negative things in your life -- like *this* ~tosses away Anna-Sophie's hand~"
And then we hit him repeatedly -_-;; Though, oddly enough, it reminded me of the kind of thing John would do >_>;; I can't wait til they meet xD
Got dumplings afterward, hangoutage, etc.
And then I got home at....6:30pm. ahahaahahahaa, irresponsible WHAT?
So no Columbia for me last night. And it was such a perfect opportunity to get Christina alone T_T
Things I've done in the past 15 hours:
- Rewrite my ridiculous Takeshi Kitano Paper ...wtf SO long T_T
- Study for Japanese Quiz
- Nap for 3 hours
- Cook Eggplant and Tofu and Pasta. I think I'm going to add tomato later ~nodnod~
I should totally learn how to cook vegetables, because John and Christina don't eat ANY arhrghghhghhg >O
I should really get back on the ball academically >_>;;;
"I want a boyfrieeeeeend, but I kind of don't?"
"Oh? Why's that?"
"Because I'm lloooneelllyyyy, and I want someone to spend time with meee."
"So why don't you want a boyfriend?"
"Because then I have to spend time with them >_>;;"
