For those of you who have not heard from her lately, do not feel bad, she is just now starting to feel her old self. She is doing well though and it was SO good to hear from her. I am a cryer. I cry at commercials, movies, good news, sad news, etc. Every time I talk to Ravenfrog on the phone or email her or anything else, I just want to cry b/c I really miss her. She told me that she and B- really like the house they are living in now and that they are slowly settling into life there.
I got my night guard back today. I broke it early last week and took it to my dentist to see if he could fix it or if I would need a new one. He was able to fix it. He shortened it (taking away the part I grind on the hardest - the back) and thickened it, so my back teeth will not touch. Not at least until I grind it down again. It took about 2 years the first time, so we shall see. My teeth really hurt each morning when I did not have it. I really missed it, so it's good to have it back again.
Husband and I borrowed a truck yesterday and drove over to Gresham to pick up some furniture from various family members and now we have an official spare bedroom with a bed and everything! I'm so excited. I've never had a spare bedroom and always wanted one. Now, not only can my guests sleep over in comfort, but in privacy, which I think is equally important. Let's put it this way, I would rather sleep on an air mattress in a closed off room than on the comfiest bed in the world in the middle of someone's living room. Let's just be honest with each other, we all make noises in our sleep that we know not of, possibly snores, snorting, farting, etc. and who wants those private noises to be heard? Plus, being able to shut the door and change or whatever is very nice. Having this room now means that we can host guests who come to our church, possibly even a foreign exchange student at some point. : )
Alpha is tomorrow. It's soup and sandwhich night. In-laws come on Friday. I need to clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHH!!!!!
: )
Husband's birthday is on Thursday and I'm trying to figure out what kind of cake to make for him. He just told me tonight that he does not want the one I usually make for him (which I thought was his favorite). So now I must grill him for answers.
