Dark Tranquillity are awesome... :) Definately up there in my fave bands list. With ease! Had a good birthday party on Saturday night! Many thanks to Emine for hosting for me, it was a great night. I got the absolute coolest present - a dragon mist lamp! Its soooooooo fucking awesome! I was kind of awed by it when I first got it and just spent 10 minutes looking at it and blowing on the mist... Too fucking cool! Thankyou so much to the people who got me it! I really appreciate it! :) Trippy stuff! Emily made me the coolest cake as well! It was a tigers head! :D And she made her little cupcake muffins which are fucking nice... mmmmm.... Thanks babe! :)
School... Blah. Doing Performance, Philosophy, Chemistry, English Writings, and English Studies - so thats five pre-tertiaries - an amount I'm happy with and I think will be good. Should give me the results I'm aiming for... I've been invited to a "special luncheon" wednesday week, as I am the recipient of an "Academic Achievement Award for the year of 2004"... I'm guessing it's because of the mark I got in Drama... I can't think of any other reason. w00t, maybe they'll put me up on one of the honours boards... This'll be a first. :P Writings is going to be stupid, I can tell... *sighs* Ah well, I'll just do work and submit it. She'll either hate it or like it.
A nice surprise, Dow (my dad's girlfriend from Canada) sent me down a cheque for 50 Australia dollars! For a christmas/new years pressie. So now I'm 50 bucks up, fuck yeh to that. Currently on my horizons are an innercore fire staff (three piece) and a nintendo DS with game... Hours of fun. :) Should be going up to a firetwirling/circus thing up north later this month, should be awesome. Camping, firetwirling, metalling... Awesome. \m/
