Doobedooooooo
So, this weekend was horrible and wonderful all at the same time. Was nearly on a flight home on Sunday but that's all good now.
Friday was Australia day so I got to be a fried kiwi wandering around Mooloolaba (best place name ever). Was interesting. I've been out in the middle of no where so much it was a bit of a culture shock to be back where there was a lot of people.
On Saturday (Sunday maybe, I can't remember?) Vaughn drove us up into the hinterlands and we went to some of the pretty spots up there, including a couple of waterfalls. I don't have the words to describe how beautiful it was, so I won't even try, it really was absolutely stunning. And of course my camera battery was flat >.<
I'm finally getting used to the temperature here which is good. It's nice to be able to get out of the air con during the day. Silly thing is I think it's because it's a bit more humid than when i got here and what Aucklander isn't used to a lot of humidity (the boys were whining at only 69%!)
There has been so much other stuff going on but I just can't think right now. This has been one of teh best holidays of my life though :)
I want it to hurry up and be the weekend again but at the same time I don't want it to come because my flight homes on Sunday. I just wanna stay up here :(
