A NATO airstrike destroyed the home of a family, killing nearly all, targeting a Taliban leader who had been living inside. Ironically, the single survivor was the man targeted by the bomb, who escaped merely injured.

A US Convoy was attacked by a suicide bomber; in response, the Americans opened fire. Several Civilians were wounded and killed.

A Base was rocketed by Taliban; two men with weapons were seen fleeing from the launch-site, taking refuge in a nearby home. The resultant mortars and airstrike leveled said home.

After numerous attempts to wave off and deter a vehicle approaching a convoy, NATO forces opened fire and killed the driver.

In Iraq, a man detonated a bomb he had strapped to himself in a market, killing over 30 innocents.

In 2001, several terrorists of middle-eastern decent boarded and took over four civilian air liners, and used three of them as flying bombs against civilian targets. The fourth was retaken by american civilians, but crashed despite their best efforts.

At the beginning of the campaign through the current time, terrorists have abducted civilian and military forces alike, and brutally executed them before cameras and put the footage out for the world. Also, they have set off numerous improvised explosive devices, most commonly in highly populated areas.

In 2004, it was discovered inmates at an American prison in Iraq had been mistreated. The perpetrators have been arrested and are undergoing trial.

In 2005, terrorists launched several attacks aimed at the civilian transportation system. A large number of civilians died or were wounded.

I've not even hit the tip of the iceberg here, but I'm quite sure you get the general idea. NATO, US forces are all being portrayed as the 'Bad Guys' by the media in almost every story written these days about them. It doesnt matter if they were defending themselves. It doesn't matter if the attackers deliberately targeted civilians, or hid among them knowing our reaction. All that matters is that we took innocent lives as well, so the whole deal is our fault, according to the media.

Thats Bullshit. Complete, total bull. Welcome to war, people die. Its regrettable, but true to the nature of the thing. If you think this is bad, check out all of this...

In other news, it has been discovered that in World War II, Allied and Axis forces alike bombed civilian and military targets indescriminately, in an effort to demoralize the population of the targeted nations and destroy all production capacity.

American forces executed a number of Japanese PoWs. Japanese meanwhile forced American PoWs into slave-labor, starvation, torture, death marches and even ate some prisoners.

In World War I, both sides used toxic gasses on one another, and left france pocketed with explosives that are still being found to this day.

In the Civil War, Sherman lead a campaign through the heart of the south, burning everything in his path to destroy the South's will to fight.

In the War of 1812, the British razed washington.

In the 1630s, the fighting forces would kill, loot, rape and pillage the populus of the areas they took.

In the Beginning, Cain killed his brother Abel.

If you think the present is bad, take off the rosy blinders of 'enlightenment' and view the true grit of the world before now. Take a look at history.

Sixty, a hundred years ago, you kill a farmer's cow, you got a free lunch and a good laugh, and the farmer just got mad.
Now, you get judicial action, and the farmer gets a hundred thousand.

The world is a very different place, but people need to realize that things aren't going to always entirely change. Not as long as there are cowards who refuse to come out from behind the innocents and fight on open ground, who hide and cower in a family's home, who attach themselves to the civilians knowing that if we go for them, we'll likely accidentally injure those around them as well.

This is war, and the media needs to stop painting it like it is not. This is no 'police brutality.' This is the real deal. And they want the media just as dead as they want us...just not quite yet, not while they're working for the real Bad Guys.
