I hadn't been shooting much of late, as I hardly get the time.  I can't even find some time over the weekends these days.  Just before my vacation, I had been to a place called Kasba Peth, where a flea market assembles on Sundays.  I was looking about to get some shots of people drinking tea, so I positioned myself at a tea stall and was happy as ( Read more... )

P.S: When you are in Bangalore next, get in touch. I have an old yashica rangefinder that you can borrow for your street portrait sessions. Amazing camera with a whisper quiet shutter and a great lens.

Oh, and I'm thinking of Madras next weekend, followed by a few days in Pondicherry. Not confirmed yet. But maybe I'll start shooting again then.

I would have loved to be there in Madras, as I have never been either to Madras or to Pondicherry; I will be shooting for a few NGOs called Door Step School, Mohur, and PCMC School over the weekend for a newsletter and documentation respectively.
