Hello!
I know, its been super long since my last post! There's so much to update inbetween, I don't know where to begin. Rather than try, I shall just sum up in pictures what I'm up to these days. While jewellery-making will always remain one of my first loves, I'm also trying to expand my creativity into other arenas as well, the latest being - Bento-making!
Before putting them into the box
After my trip to Japan, I've been in-love with all things japanese/kawaii! I went down to Daiso and got my bento-making equipment. Check out the rice moulds in the shape of Hello Kitty, Miffy and ? (I don't know what the bear's name is). I also cut out pieces of spam with cookie cutters (shaped like a rabbit and elephant). My mum added the eyes (raisins) and mouth (carrots) onto them. For colour and to give a more balanced meal, I added cherry tomatoes and blueberries.
These look so cute, it makes me happy just looking at them! :)
I would like to share this quote which I recently chanced upon on someone's blog. This really spoke out to me, and made me see things from quite a different perspective.
"Some people think that it's holding on that makes one strong. In reality, it's letting go."
