By George....he's climbing!

It seems that Dubya has taken a large lead in the polls, 54 percent to 43 percent for Kerry......Fuck.

Anyways,
Wahay...after 2 months of pleading and convincing, I've finally managed to convinced my dad not to sell our house, instead come here and check out the place and see if he really wants to stay here. Sure the financial situation here is much better and our standard of living would be higher here, but still. The place generally doesn't even compare to the US. The government, now in the post-socialism stage, is rather corrupt and unreliable. Everybody cheats on taxes, because if you declare the actual amount, the government demands more say that you are trying to pay less. You can kill somebody, and then pay off the cops not to bust you. You can pay off the cops like 20 rupees if they catch you driving without a license and they'll let you go.

Sure, I can use it to my benefit, but I chose to live ethically and stick to my morals. But this sure ain't no America.

Anyways, my band is playing at an All-India Inter-College band competition this thursday, the winning band gets 25,000 dollars and gets to open for Deep Purple when they come to India. That is SO Bitchin'. Seriously. Hopefully we'll do well, we got a real good playlist lined up, our lead guitarist is AMAZING', he can play Hendrix and Metheney and Vai and everything. Our vocalist is real good too, he's been singing Indian classical music since he was 4, we recruited him to sing rock 2 months ago, and he's coming along well. So I hope we do well.

On another note, I will be visiting for sure, in late April/early May of next year, in time for graduation. It's gonna be great to see everybody again, I can't wait. About that Model UN thing I was talking about, I confused it with another, the one I was chosen for is in The Hague in the Netherlands, in the last week of January. Its the only MUN in the world that is sanctioned by the UN itself, so I think it's going to be a pimpin' good time.

Also, I've been teaching young students (4th grade to 6th grade) the very basics of drumming. I must say, that it is very fulfilling, not to mention fun, plus I get community service hours. Ass, kicked to the Nth degree.

And once again I'm lost in my own words. Nothing more to say, but not for long, because life is flowin'.
