A cinderella story
Broomball is maybe the best sport of all time. It's been an awesome season so far, my team came close to finnishing 2nd in our division - close but we got knocked down a few bars at the end because some other teams picked up the wins they needed and we lost a game against the top team in the leauge. At least we made the playoffs.
We destroyed our first round opponents 8-1, then went on to face the leagues number 2 team and won 2-1 in OT, last night we won our semi-final game 1-0 to take us to the playoffs which start tonight, a best of 3 series.
the number 1 and 2 seeds are both out, and we are the big underdogs, while most of our opponents have a scored many more golas than they have let in, and we have let in a lot more than we have scored. But I've only started playing goal recently and I allow 1 goal on average a game. I was glad to finally get the shutout last night. I think we win t-shirts and get our tem name on a trophey if we win.
Ice Capades vs The Drunken Pylons tonight at 11pm, should be a great game.
