Elephant + Chainsaw =
There should be more elephant chainsaw rampages. I made a mock up of how awesome this would be.
Vacation is finally grinding to a halt which means that I should start packing post haste. My favorite guitar pick shattered last night to my disappointment, I got it from my cousin years ago along with a guitar, amp, and distortion pedal. I have had that pick for almost as long as I’ve been playing guitar. This gives me a reason to get some new picks which is convenient since I need to get some strings anyway.
I found a bunch of records that had been missing which had been quite annoying since among the missing were most of the ones that I own that are any good. They were acting as a support column for a few boxes of junk in a corner of the attic…not where I had left them.
I stopped by Mr. Snyder’s house yesterday to chat for a while. He’s been on vacation looking after his two kids for a few months. I took my camera to show him and he told me that his had been stolen at a wedding in Toronto over the summer so he gave me his compact flash reader which saves me needing to go out and buy one. He also said I should make it a priority to read The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. Buying these could work out well for me if I order them on Amazon since I was planning to buy Six-String Samurai and wanted to get more stuff to get the free shipping.
I’m looking forward to getting back to Wolfville tomorrow, I should probably check out when and where classes are this term soon. I get Fridays off so that should be fun.
