NEVER let me cook... NEVER
ok, so the other day I was attempting to cook some sushi rice...
I looked on the bag followed all the instructions.
1 cup of rice
1 1/4 cup of water
bring to boil over high flame
cover and let simmer for 25 minutes
did all that... but I think the first time I tried ((yes, I tried more than once)) I didn't have enough water. I tried washing the rice and I got confsued about the water amount. that was my fault.
I burnt the rice, threw it away, covered it up, turned on the fans, and cleaned the pot. managed to clean the pot pretty damn well too.
Now the second time, I doubled everything. 2 cups rice, 2 and a half cups of water. boil over high flame,cover and simmer 25 minutes.
It was goin ok.... but I think I messed up the simmer part.
when it boiled I put the cover on, and didn't change the flame.
so the bottom rice was a bit burnt but the rest was ok.
but after that second burn, in the same pot, so soon after... I couldn't clean the damn pot... so I hid it in my room...
God, I am just NOT meant to cook...
well with the good rice I tried making kapamaki... it went so bad... too much rice on the seaweed and when I rolled it, just pushed the cucumber right out.
God, I need a man who can cook....
had that, so let me correct that phrase. I need a non-emo man who can cook... but those are mostly gay...
so I need to become friends with a gay guy who can cook and doesn't mind me using him for his cooking skills...
atleast I got a good nap in today.
