My prays to Japan. It's a relief to hear from everyone I know in Japan, but I heard many people are missing, were injured, and there's a lot of damage done.
On a different topic, today was my last day of class this quarter. Time sure fly, only two more days of exam and I'll be off to a short break, then totally new courses. I haven't been a highly responsible student these past 10 weeks. Gotta shape up for spring XD.
Small note: reading Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi chapter 16. He is smoking in a restaurant? =(( Sensei, his lover is still a highschooler too =(
I started on reading Atlas Shrugged today. The book got me interested after seeing the movie trailer. I wonder how the movie would really feel like. From what I have read through so far, the book has a writing style of classic books, which makes it very fictional to me, as if everything is happening in an alternative world. The characters are built from stereotypes of strong people - to the point of being similar to a fairytale (she simply describe their superiority, which is pretty boring), it's only the events on their challenges that are focused on and invested heavily in to be made distinct and meaningful (which I'm enjoying quite a lot because they are well told XD). I haven't seen much of the Objective philosophy but I hope there won't be a lot of lecturing passages since I don't want to argue with it.
