What? This is the craziest ass Winter in all of 2005. Combined! Sunday, when I get back to OU, it's Spring-like, sunny, breezy, a little chilly, but justwarm enough that I can go outside in a T-shirt for some time. Yesterday, it rains. All the live-long day. Never a dry moment. Today, I wake up and look out the window and the ground is covered in a layer of snow. What gives?
This crazy Ohio weather has been happening at least here in Athens for like the past 2 months. Warm then cold, sunny, then rainy then snowy and back to warm all over again. This is the main reason why I like Fall so much better than Spring. No huge ups and downs, just gradual change. Pleh. I'm ready for real Spring. At least stop snowing, it's Freakin' March today. (but not tomorrow?)

Well, I'm not going to English. That's right. A Whose Line is it Anyway? marathon (during which I wrote a really long entry that I liked but got deleted (see previous entry)), then distracted myself some more by playing poker with some guys in my dorm (something that I've been doing lately each week). I lost again. Serves me right. I probably would have subconsciously justified my slacker attitude had I won. Now I haven't done Spanish workbook pages. Again. But now have to go to the compurter lab to do the video activity. Was I supposed to do a presentation in English today? Who knows. I'll go back on Thursday with my fancy doctor's note and hopefully my paper, after being away from the class for nearly 2 weeks. Man. What's happened to me? This is so not what I would do during Fall Quarter. Then again, it's English. One of those subjects that takes a little more *umph* to keep me motivated and interested. It's really just the writing of the papers that's the big thing in the class (no tests). If there actually were tests I'd probably die (figuratively <=there's some English device for ya. Happy?) Man am I strange now. I set my alarm an hour earlier to work on Spanish, but wasn't able to get out of bed until my usual time. Lost an hour of sleep for nothing. So that gives me what, maybe 4 hours of sleep last night. I really do need a lot more.

Well, the sun came out and looks like the snow will all mostly be melted by the end of the day. Daffodils and buds on trees having been wanting to emerge since early January, the weather has been that crazy. And now this cycle will start all over again. Get ready for 1 or 2 days of sunshine, then back to this again! (Kind of hard on the wardrobe selctions, no?) I swear, that groundhog was high on something last month. (-;
