"grass clippings"
I spent most of the day working on my paper doing research for 503. I discovered that I will have a job pet sitting over spring break. It’s for one of the professors at GMU. I figure that it can’t hurt to pet sit for a potential future professor. I also have an interview tomorrow at some office in a basement NE DC. It’s supposed to be for some guy who does historic preservation and information for homeowners in DC. It’s $10 and hour. It’s seems a bit shady to me. I can’t find a listing for the business and he didn’t respond when I asked if he has a web page. I even drove by the address tonight and it looked kind of creepy but I also tend to get overly paranoid for no reason at well. I thought the basement windows were boarded up but Carmen thought they were not. However, I did have a bad dream about the place last night. In the dream, I regretted putting my apartment number on my resume b/c in the middle of the night someone kept knocking on the door. I would sit up and no one was really there. However, I kept hearing knocking and I wondered how they got in the building. I was sure it was the guy who is supposed to interview me tomorrow Anyway, I was able to get a friend from work to go with me. I decided that I should trust my vibe. Seems a bit weird to me but I don’t want to walk into the basement of some random building in DC. I am sure everything is fine and I guess its better to be safe.
Carmen and I walked Clyde tonight. We played in the snow and Clyde loved it. It’s snowing here and it’s so beautiful….I hate the cold but it makes me feel so nostalgic. I wish I had a sled and a hill…..
