(no subject)
So if you read Jess's journal (yumyumyum) you can see this as a comment that I wrote to her but here it is again.
OK so I am sorry that I complained that I was going to get a bad grade in Dr. Maria's class all the time. I got an A. But, you got to remember I forgot to turn in my experiential learning, I didn't know any of the definitions on the exam, my highest grade on a paper was a 90, and I got a 68% from one of the judges at the conference, so I had a reason to be worried. Plus Dr. Maria told me to my face on the Tuesday of finals week that I was getting no higher than a B. She is one tricky lady, and I still hated her class. She must have just given whatever kind of grades she felt like instead of actually going by the gradebook which I am grateful for.
Okay, as for the rest of my grades I did really good this semester. I actually did better than last semester which I was positive would not happen. My GPA was a 3.812. Here's the breakdown:
EDHI 200 (RA Class) A
Humanities: B+
Spanish A
TCOM 204 (Dr. Maria's class) A
Script Writing A
Copy Writing A-
News Writing B+
EXP Topics (Saturday morning production class) A
Enough about school. My birthday was pretty good. I went shopping with my mom (who is actually really fun to shop with).
And I got a white halter top with cherries on it, a black polo and a white polo (both from the gap for $10 and I've never bought anything from the gap so this is a new one for me), and khakis because I got fat and ripped my old ones. I also got a blue striped shirt for my birthday. That's about it. I did pilates tonight and damn my legs hurt. I forgot what it felt like to work out.
I hate American Idol. I don't watch it very much but I did tonight and the girl I wanted to win got voted off. Oh well.
