As I sit here, counting my gold coins and conducting inventory of my weapons and ammo for the coming zombie apocalypse, I thought I'd share with you the status of various 3015 North projects.
Because I care.
And I know you do.
And because I am out of beer, the sun is still up and there's nothing good on television.
Blue Collar Gods - Melmoth - The third in the BCG series is coming along quite well. There might actually be a real honest-to-Yig publisher involved here. Stay tuned.
The Fall and Sudden Deceleration of Roberty Calumny - Abandoned. An intervention of friends convinced me it was a good idea to put those characters to rest for a while...if not for good. :)
The Delano Rose radio experience - The last episode was the Christmas 2007 show and there has been limited desire for another episode. It's trippy, stream of consciousness random sound experience confused some and frightened others. I may continue this show quarterly if I feel like it and I manage to secure proper licenses and clearances. Otherwise, expect more public domain music and OT Radio drama.
Blackjack Masterson - Space Marshal - Three radio scripts are STILL complete, two are STILL in solid draft form. I am waiting for the time I can commit to producing the project. On a SAD note, I lost the BJM Holiday Special script in the last hard drive crash and I was very much in love with that story - sci fi cameos, slapsticky comedy, action, romance and a lot of things going ZAP! I hope to have a completed pilot episode by PhilCon, but that sounds suspiciously like what I said last year about this time.
The Untitled Cosplay documentary - Way way way back on the list of things to do.
Eidolon - Now in its 8th fantastic year as a pre-production concept, the story of a guy and his psychotic breakdown remains a quartet of penciled comic pages, a full screenplay and a giant pain in my ass. If I happen to meet the right artist for the gig, it might be worth revisiting.
Rise of the Monkey Lord - The Movie - Just kidding. There's no fucking way....
Rise of the Monkey Lord - the Book on Tape - Surprisingly enough, there is interest in reading the book without having to suffer through 300 pages of 9 point type in a trade paperback that is hard to read while on the stationary bike at the gym. If I can arrange to do this with a full cast (though not necessarily the original cast) it might be fun to do it.
The Revenge of Ringo 10th Anniversary DVD edition - No, seriously, I'm not goofing on this one. Now that the video has been recaptured at a higher resolution, the plan is to get some the principal cast and crew drunk and record a commentary track to the new edit. I can be paid to stop working on this, by the way. :)
So there you go!
