an update
So ok, here's the skinny on what's been going on lately with my Birthright application.
I cannot find my passport. At all. It's like it dissapeared completely out of my apt. and I don't have any idea where it could be!
Therefore, I had to cancel my application. Registration closes on October 5th and I know I won't be able to get a new passport in enough time. It sucks, but what can ya do? I'll apply again when I def have a damn passport in my hands.
Other than that, things are fine. I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday I went to Pride down in the Starland district, but I was a bit dissapointed. It wasn't as fun as it has been in the past. I guess it's because there just wasn't very much going on. Tim and I took Phyllo to the dog park and then Saturday night my mom and I went to synagogue to have dinner and watch a very funny play. On Sunday Phyllo had a vet's appointment and then Mom and I went to my friend Jamie's daughter's 1st birthday party. It was so cute! I'll post the pictures later.
I unfortunately left my cell phone at my parents' house yesterday, though, so don't try calling me today (that is, if you were going to try). I'd better get it back soon because I feel really naked without it!
Oh, and I also have a sore throat. It sucks.
