Thanks tp Amber's recommendation, I watched "Hung Up", the new Madonna video for the first time a few minutes ago. If you haven't seen it, it stars Madonna and the cast of "Fame". I think it takes place in New York, because New York is the only city that is ever shown to have a subway system. Although certain parts appear to be based in LA. I'm confused.
I really think that NYC should make more commercials along the lines of this video - people would be much more willing to visit New York if they thought that impromptu breakdance fights happen on the subway, street corners, etc. I rode the subway in New York, and all I got was a bunch of bible study kids and their group leader declaring "This is our father's car! This car is for Jesus!" and then singing "I've got that joy down in my heart." (Where?)
In conclusion, I like the video, but I wish Madonna didn't do jazz hands so much in the video.
