Arizona Immigration Brouhaha
There are calls for boycotting Arizona...from diamondback baseball games, to tourism and California council people and other 'leaders' are wanting the State to cut ties with Arizona companies.
Exactly how wise is this boycott bullshit? The Law's not even in affect yet and the only thing any of these boycott maneuvers will actually achieve is hurting the people who depend on those jobs...and with the economic crisis AZ and CA are in, this makes NO sense!
The Law's gonna get smacked down at the Federal level, so this outrage is really for naught, other than getting some couch potatoes out of the house and into the sun
The sad thing, is that with this abject lesson in 2nd class citizenry, few are going to equate it with Same-Sex marriage and Equal Rights for the LGBT community.
All I have to say is, "Not so funny when it happens to you, is it?"
