I got your VM last night, but not til late. Today I've been lining up a Monday full of medical tests. I'm glad you posted this, and just pasted it into my own journal with a link back here. You should post a pic of the little man int he comments here so if people follow the link from my post they'll see his sweet little face. :)

oh YES please! That would be wonderful!
hopefully I'll have a picture of him available on Monday!
(had to go home at lunch and wrap up my white elephant gift for the office party tonight and spent several minutes just playing with him! He's taken to claiming the cat carrier as his little get away from the other cats..he just purrs away and wants to be loved on so much!)

Oh wait - one thing that just popped into my head ... some cat diseases can have the same symptoms as poisoning. Are you sure that someone poisoned the cats? I think it is distemper than can manifest as poisoning! It would be a VERY good idea to take him to a vet before exposing him to your own cats (although it sounds like you might have already mixed them). Also, strongly suggest to whomever might adopt him that he be taken to the vet & "quarantined" before exposure to any other cats. There's so many things they can catch like FIP & feline leukemia.

I don't mean to scare you, but you might want to have him checked out. Good luck with finding him a home. :)

with the complete devestation of the cat population in such a short compact amount of time (Friday night/Sunday night)it's extremely unlikely to be any contagious kitty sickness...
...but the all of the felines are being watched!
