so what else is new...
Right now enjoying the long weekend (sadly it's the last day of the long weekend *sigh) and once more pondering about stuff.
So, just as expected, I didn't win anything in my nominated artwork categories on the Torino Awards (but congratulations to the winners). This makes it the third time in a row of being nominated with digital and losing to handdrawn artwork, proving to me that digital artwork just doesn't count as real art that you've put a lot of work into in well, all of my fandoms. Gotta admit, the handdrawn artwork was really beautiful, not to get me wrong here. It just seems sometimes a bit unfair to me, but doesn't come unexpected *shrugs*.
But on the other hand I won third place with an icon a recent icon challenge and have started on my turn of 100 Blood Ties icons (posted earlier). Maybe somebody can find them useful, if not, I'll have a whole bunch of pretty icons (to me pretty at least) to choose from for my LJ.
Then enjoyed the free day yesterday and went shopping for some clothes, not that I needed them, but one of the stores had a huge blowout sale with 50% off on all stuff, so I just had to buy some new shirts and jeans. Won't be posting pictures, because just like last time, nobody'll be intersted in that.
Still need to answer my mails and hoping that this week we'll get some clarity about the situation at my workplace. This whole shit is seriously stomping on my creativity, probably the reason why my last graphics I've experimented on looked so shitty
