Attention Locals: Large Woody Debris Moving Day + Jeremiah Viewing
I sent this to slashgropers, but have just remembered that not everyone is getting their mail.
cricketk and wobowikkles are planning to come to my place this Sunday (31 Oct) to help me move some wood into environmentally friendly positions along my creekline.
Then we plan to watch an episode or two of Jeremiah, which I'm reliably informed is a very slashy show.
If you're free and feel like a day in the country doing a small bit for the environment (Greens voters?), come out anytime from 10:30 or so onwards. I'll do lunch/cookies/drinks. I was probably exaggerating in my previous entry about the possibility of snakebite, so don't be deterred by that. Heavy lifting is also not required - I can also offer light lifting, and even no lifting! (doctor_k_: I'm sure there will be plenty left to do next month, too.) Dogs welcome.
I'm very annoyed with myself for going on a Sentinel binge over the winter instead of planting more trees!! Somebody please restrain me if I do that again next year.
