Obsession Shared
Mag 7 viewing of the episode Obsession last night at emma_in_oz and special_trille's. This is a great show to watch in company, because with seven main characters it's hard to catch everything that's going on at once. It's fun to see what others notice.
In the scene where most of the Seven go into Ella's house after they arrive at her property, I'm
1) Double-checking to make sure Vin isn't in the scene, and
2) Looking at what kind of food is on the table.
emma_in_oz and sarren, however, are noticing Ezra checking out the silver in preference to helping himself to anything to eat.
(I did catch the smile Chris gave Ezra as he went up the stairs with Ella: zekiel has me fairly well trained.)
special_trille to Chris, onscreen, who's stepping between JD and Minor Bad Guy with Same Hat: Get out of the way! We're having Hat Issues!
...then, about the saloon scene that follows: It's an AU! See? Bad Guy No. 1 is dressed in black like Chris. That guy has a moustache like Buck. And there's the guy with JD's hat.
zebra363, emma_in_oz and special_trille: silently contemplating the emotionally charged moment when Chris tells the others that he'll be staying with Ella (at least that's what I was doing, and I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt)
sarren, beaming at the TV: Doesn't Ezra look fabulous?
We all agreed that the eye candy factor for Chris is very high in this episode. I lamented that we never get to see Vin in a similar state of undress and was told to watch Now & Again. My initial reaction is that it wouldn't be the same without the long hair, but maybe I'm being too hasty.
I want to do MORE of this. Next Wednesday, anybody? Or I'm home on Sunday if you feel like a long drive. true_enough, if you get on a plane now, I can pick you up from the airport on Saturday evening...
