Fandom Appreciation Challenge - Day 4
Today's task is to send feedback to two community moderators, challenge or auction organisers, newsletter compilers or archivists, and rec one.
My rec is for the weekly Age of Sail fandoms newsletter despatches. It covers Master and Commander, Hornblower, Sharpe, Temeraire, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jane Austen and other literary 18th-19th century fandoms. Of those I'm usually only interested in the occasional Hornblower/Bush or Sharpe/Harper story, but subscribing to the newsletter is a very efficient way of making sure I see them. Plus, it links to various interesting posts, such as great photos from a visit to the HMS Victory and an 18th century board game!
