Thoughts about the Universe

Liz: I may not get this job
I'll give myself a day to be depressed, and a week to be grumpy about it... but then I need to get over it an move on.
I know that I am the most qualified person for this job, but the panel may find someone that is more qualified for the job that they want this to be.
because that door will close, and it's not the end of times... it is the Universe leading me in directions that I dont' want to go.
but mostly I don't want to go in those directions because I don't know what lies behind those doors.
It's always a gamble, this life that we're living
But there has to be trust that the Universe loves me and won't lead me in directions I don't need to go

Spaz: you hit the nail on the head with that last bit, as far as i understand the world
you stay invested in the universe, and it will stay invested in you

Liz: I'm learning how to stay invested.
you can't look to far ahead though
I guess the universe takes that as spoiling the best part or something
and be smart
and handle things well
cause the tomorrow doesn't matter so much as the right now
