I finally took the plunge and "upgraded" to Vista Business yesterday. After much fidgeting around to get my raid drivers to play nice with Vista's install, I finally got it working.
And, I love it. Vista actually runs more smoothly on my PC than XPsp2 ever has. I like how MS made some skin tweaks for Vista, while still allowing me to switch to classic mode where desired. The only thing I don't like is Control Panel, specifically System, doesn't have a true classic style- with tabs and all that fun old-school stuff.
So far, no driver or software issues.
For a business trying to rollout Vista, though, I could see where it could create some problems. Trying to get end-users to use XP properly can be fun enough the way it is. Vista, like I said, has some skin tweaks, changing how you access certain aspects of the OS. And most users have no idea about the Classic Style options, really.
Anyways, I do approve of Vista and it looks like I'll be keeping with it for now.
