Gettin' old

Dec 21, 2003 21:46

I turn 30 in not so far off. I need some suggestions on what I should do to celebrate this societally fabricated milestone. Currently I'm thinking going to a bar and demanding booze from friends. But that sounds like something a 20-something would do.

I wish my birthday wasn't so fucking close to the holidays. I even end up forgetting it.

Come to vegas with me over Presidents' Day weekend. Then it will be between our 30th birthdays.

If you do something pretty low-key, Eric and I will try to come out. But it's the night before his surgery, so I'm not totally sure.

You know I'm up for the bar and beer.

Ifn you want to go to SF, Toronado has lots and lots of selection.

I don't want to have my birthday get-together at work.

I seem to have missed my insane sarcasm tags.

(not sure if the tags or the sarcasm are the insane part)

Hi! I didn't know you were on LJ, small world, tee hee. I don't pick up TMCM regularly, but I'll try to track down the Dec 2003 issue. I'd lurv to go to the Alternative Press Expo. I've never been. I was planning on going to WonderCon or maybe even ComicCon (never been) this year. I'm sure G would be down for it too.
