Just say no, lol

My brother got arrested last night. Again. Only this time it wasn't for some stupid prank. Oh no. This time, Cody and his pals got caught with a case of beer and pot. Not only that, but they were in his friend's car...only three houses down from said friend's house. >>; What a bunch of dumbasses.

My brother swears that he wasn't drinking or smoking, he was just hanging out with them. Which is a load of crap, because I know my brother: if his friends were doing it, he was doing it too. The cops even said they were all drunk. Took 'em all to the station, then the moms went and picked them up. I dunno what's gonna happen next. They're all minors, the oldest being 17 and the youngest, my lovely lil bro, only 15. There's a court date, and he'll get house arrest or fined or something. Maybe he'll even spend some time in 20/20. I think I'd laugh my ass off if he did.

My dad's gone mental; he grounded him until he's eighteen and was last seen looking up boot camps on the Net. Mom's cracking the whip; she didn't seemed too surprise when she found out, but man was she pissed. My youngest brother, Alex, keeps whispering things to me conspiringly about the iccident, in case I didn't know, and is upset because now they're not going to Best Buy today, where he wanted to spend his gift cards. And me? I'm not talking to him. His stupidity has left me speechless.

Cody doesn't care about anybody but himself, and he never thinks before he acts. I'm pissed not only because of what he did, but also because he didn't even consider the consquences. I mean, they were in a car. What if they decided to go somewhere, driving drunk and stoned? He coulda got in a wreck and died or something! I mean, seriously, what the hell was he thinking?!

I love my brother, I really do, but he lately all he's done is piss everyone off. I miss the old Cody, the one who used to play games with me and make stupid jokes. But ever since he hit puberty, he's been...well, a teenager, I guess. I can't relate though; whereas he's the rotten egg in the family,  I'm the goody-goody and never really been the rebellious teenaged type. I've never seen the appeal of drugs, either. All throughout our childhood, our parents and the schools would drill into us, "Drugs are bad, drugs are bad!" Apparently I'm one of the few who actually got it though. All the time I hear other kids talking about the crazy parties they went to and how wasted they got, like it's something to be proud of. It sounds retarded to me. You have to drink to have fun? You get drunk or high, do something stupid, and if you survive the night, you wake up with a major hangover and can't remember a thing you did. Yeah, that sounds like a blast to me.

What a way to start off Spring Break, huh?

stupid, wtf, brother, drugs
