It's 100 degrees outside. According to the newspaper, it hasn't been this hot since, like, 1930 or something.
It's been like all week. A dry and arid wasteland with temperatures in the upper 90s. S'craaazy hot. Wehn you step outside, it's like stepping into a desert. The heat almost feels solid. Screw tension; you could the heat with a freaking knife.
I'm tempted to crack an egg out on the street and see if fries. I've never actually seen that done before.
If this keeps up, they might hafta delay starting school. Our district can't ACs for the whole buildings. So that's a plus, I guess.
A minus, though, is pushing in grocery carts for thirty minutes at a time while long, black pants. God I don't want to go to work tommorow.
