We got the handshake! *jazz hands*

I've discovered MGMT is pretty spiffy after having conquered my fear of its shirtless 16yo-looking lead(?) singer.
His chest is just...so smooth. I have weird phobias, Y/N?
Didn't mean to push bands at you like that, btw. I just like typing things about scary shirtless kids. OH MAN am I going to make a great teacher.

Oh, and I've also started reading Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring, because society made me. And because I don't want to be the only one in my Medieval Literature class who looks totally dumb because I haven't yet familiarized myself with Middle English via Elvish, or whatever idk. I know how unlikely that sounds, what with LOTR having actually been published this century and not, like, 600 years ago. But I just can't shake the feeling that my potential classmates are going to think that I'm not  "into" my subject enough, or whatever.

HELLO I'M INSECURE.

The thing is, I'm not actually sure why I chose ML in the first place, apart from wanting to learn Middle English. It sounded cool in the lecture, guys!

Eh, all that matters is that I'm liking FotR. Well, I'll probably like it like it when the pace speeds up a bit. I'm waiting for more action, besides the Black Riders snuffling around and Sam whimpering and all that. Even though I like Sam.

I also left Kinokuniya on Friday with a Tamora Pierce book, don't ask me how. Not that I mean anything against the author, it's just that ~*YA Fantasy*~ isn't really my thing. But the net promised that the book had an interesting (read: slightly lesbo) storyline in it and I must admit, I was pretty intrigued. Homoerotic themes + fantasy genre + YA = how?

Aaand I'm tired. I'd sleep, but my dreams have been pretty weird. And it's only 7:30.

ETA: I miss 2AM Sunday night/but actually Monday morning Avengers. I have to rely on old episodes of GP to keep me company now.
Old Amiable Doctor: I say, why don't we put some sort of candy-machine in the waiting room? There's nothing little tykes love more then putting their nickels in and seeing treats pop out!
Bespectacled Fogey Doctor: *outraged* WE CAN'T HAVE CANDY IN A SURGERY! >:(

...yeah.
