Snagged from
katrinas_way Do you have an exercise routine?
I do now thankfully. I have a 1 hour PT session every Tuesday lunchtime, 2 30 minute sessions Monday and Thursday night, Yoga on Wednesday night and Saturday morning and I've just gotten a treadmill so when I come home from the evening PT sessions I usually walk for half an hour and try to do 40 minutes on my non-class days.
What are your main obstacles when it comes to exercise?
Honestly, self-motivation and boredom. I was walking everyday at home and getting sick to death of it. I'm really good at attending classes so picked up a few to make sure I had at least 5 exercise sessions a week and then I could either walk on the off days or not feel guilty for actually having a day off.
How do you feel when you exercise?
I used to feel thrashed. It's amazing how much shedding nearly 50 pounds (I say in pounds cause it sounds so much better than 22 kilos... heh!) has made exercising easier. I used to wonder just *how* people exercised so much because it was uncomfortable for me and sometimes downright painful, but now I'm coming to understand.
How much time do you sit each day?
Way too much. I'm in an office job so I'm on my ass for about 8-9 hours a day. My two evening PT sessions and my lunchtime session are during the week so it's a blessing to either have a session before I drive home or in the middle of my day. (Bless this office, built into Sydney Olympic Park so there's a locker room and showers!)
What would you like to change about your approach to exercise?
I'm happy with where I am at at the moment. The one thing I want to start doing is getting up about half an hour earlier than I am at the moment so I can do a quick walk on the treadmill just to kick off my day.
