I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball

School's practically over now. Hopefully I'll be able to post a little more often than once a month. OTL

What I really dislike is how, now that we've pretty much learned all we're going to learn for the year, all the teachers pile on projects just to take up the rest of the time. In our APUSH class, my group has one of those overachievers who end up doing everything themselves. I feel bad that she's setting up all the interviews, and taking pictures, and finding newspaper headlines. But I also feel that there isn't really much else to do. At least I've helped out more than two of the others in my group, who don't seem to be doing anything at all. Alternatively, we're supposed to be writing and illustrating children's books in my Spanish class, and I feel like I'm doing everything. I don't mind too much, though, since I'm pretty good friends with my partner. Also, I tend to get all perfectionist and OCD about all the details in things like these, so I guess it's good that the style of writing and art will be consistent haha.

COMPLETELY RANDOM: I'm currently eating a mango with a knife. This was a relatively good idea as I started typing, as it's really easy to cut into without getting my fingers (and, by extension, keyboard) sticky. As I get closer to the middle, however, the whole thing is rather counterproductive. >:|

In other news, welcome to karrissarella , kathleeness , meatbullets , rooftop_scenery , rzncu , _sayumi_chan_ , sidevocalist , and strawberrymello from the DRRR!! friending meme. :D I hope you won't be too bored here.

I also just found out through e-mail that our marching band's field show for next year is from Avatar. I haven't seen the movie yet, and I'm not really planning on it, either. What I'd like to know: Have you seen it? What did you think of it? Am I being stupid and biased against it, and should I just suck it up and go see it?

SATs tomorrow morning. I'm off to (re)take Chemistry, and Math II. =__= I have a friend who is retaking the History SAT, because she doesn't think a 730 is good enough. That, and the Math II, because she got a 750 last time. It makes me feel annoyed and too easily satisfied in comparison. But anyway. Bedtime for me. I don't think I'll be able to sleep, though, because this is so many hours earlier than my usual collapse-into-bed-time.

tests, marching band, not procrastinating?!, welcome, sleep, school, i hate history
