1988.5 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 For Sale

Aug 13, 2007 22:23

Just a feeler for my Samurai. Lots of stuff in the air right now and I really don't have time for it. Here are all the specs I can remember, but I'll most likely forget stuff because I literally have three boxes full of extra stuff waiting to be installed, just haven't had the time.

1988.5 Suzuki Samurai
VIN - JS4JC51C1J4257404
New flywheel (about 5,000 miles)
New clutch and related bushings/bearings (about 5,000 miles)

New U-joints in rear driveshaft
Stock gearing

Newly machined engine (.020" overbore, new pistons, new valve springs, Roadless Gear 260 Power Cam, Weber 32/36- flipped 180*- adjusted float to Sarge's spec, 2" exhaust, new water pump, new oil pump, all new gaskets, 94amp GM 12SI alternator)

YJ soft half doors modified to fit as perfectly as possible
Full doors in matching black (door mirrors available, but lost bolts for passenger side mirror)
Mr Gasket 3.5psi electric fuel pump
New brakes on the rear
New stock pedal covers
New headlights
T-case 2wd-low modification performed
4"x4" .25" wall rear bumper with tail lights, reverse lights, hitch, and CB mount built in
Driveshaft spacers (3/4" up front, 1" in rear)
Super long Spidertrax SS brake lines

Parts that come with it:
Rock sliders (with step rails that don't reduce ground clearance)
Petroworks skid plate
Steering column surround
Extra gauge assembly
Extra heater blower motor (brand new)
Hand throttle
Hood latches
Electric fan
Suzuki original rear speaker enclosures
Headlight grills
Most of an extra t-case for parts (used front output shaft housing when I split mine)
Extra bucket seats from a Toyota
Stock length shackles (original stock and possibly a stronger set available)
Polyurethane spring bushings
Trail Tough t-case mounts
Full set of Jeep TJ fender flares
Extra t-case shifter to do a home brew twin stick

Problems:
1.) Having minor fuel delivery issues- I plan to have them sorted out in the next couple days
2.) SOA perches could stand to be replaced- when they were done I was planning it as a trail rig so they're not pretty, but they do work well and it's really predictable on the road
3.) It's SOA with no steering correction- I've ran it like this for a year, now, and haven't had trouble- just takes getting used to
4.) Transfer case has a slight whine to it

That's all I can think about right off. I'll update this thread as things progress. I'll let it go right now with everything I own for it for $3500. If you want to make a reasonable offer, I'll consider it. As improvements are made, the price will reflect those improvements. This is A WHOLE LOT OF STUFF for the price. It is a street driven, trail driven, fun to own vehicle. I was told it has 125k on it, but the old motor acted more like 225k... but it's nearly all basically new equipment installed or provided. I have a clear title in hand. No trades. You can reach me at:
