(no subject)
So i had a fabulous weekend, probably the best since ive been in college, and i spent it back in marietta.
Matt is home from Afghanistan and its nice to see that nothing has changed at all. He still locks the door when i want to come in.
I got to hang out with Trey. i love that boy, trey, you're the best! We went and saw a concert over in roswell then went to Dreamland BBQ (it was my very first trip and it was very yummy) Then we just hung out for a while at Trey's house. It's nice coming home and seeing old friends because it puts your college bubble life into better perspective and reminds you where you came from.
Saturday i slept in and went to Lenox for some ZTA philanthropy stuff. That was pretty fun and we went shopping for a little while afterwards. I talked to Jessica in the parkinglot for a bit about how silly boys can be. I ate an amazing dinner with my mom and dad then katie came over and we watched Halloweentown High. High quality TV right there. I love katie because our friendship is just amazing. I cant remember a time when we've really been mad at each other. Things get messed up temporarily but they always turn out just fine. Thanks for being awesome Katie, i love you!
Sunday i slept in, managing to get 12 hours of sleep. I sat around and watched X2 for the 100th time, but whatever. My mom and i ran errends and that was fun, got some good stuff. We had another amazing dinner (mmm steak) and i came back to tech. I didnt get any homework done this weekend but it was worth the relaxation.
So really random and cool: i was walking back to the dorm and there is a swing tied to a large tree just behind the building, and as i walked by i noticed a hawk just hanging out on the swing. I was like 10 ft. away max, it was pretty cool and random.
